In the research to be conducted, the variables that will be observed can be considered as the most important concepts due to the fact that the results of the study depends on the proper monitoring of these factors. Dependant Variable The dependant variable in the research process is the percent prevalence of the domestic violence in a given ethnic group. This factor depends on the independent factor and can be affected by the changes in the said factor. The result of the study is related to the probable consideration in terms of the relationship between the factors in the research to be conducted.
Independent Variable The independent variables are factors which are not affected by the changes in other factors but otherwise changes of the said factors can affect the dependent variables. Independent variables include ethnic origin and the age of the members of the population under study. The said factor was chosen due to the fact that the ethnic origin of the people under study can be considered as the factor wherein the other factors and variables are dependent.
